  1. What Types of Information do the Websites Collect?
  2. As used in this Privacy Policy, “personal information” is information that reasonably identifies, relates to, describes, or can be associated with you personally. Data that has been deidentified or that otherwise cannot reasonably be related back to a specific person is not considered personal information. The precise definition of personal information may vary depending on your province or territory of residence, but we take the same approach to protecting your privacy.

    Information You Provide To Us. Providing us with information about yourself is your choice, and you can always choose not to provide certain information (but then you may not be able to take advantage of some of the Websites' features). We may ask you to provide us with certain categories of information such as:

    • Contact information, such as your name, e-mail address, cell phone number and physical address, which we use to respond to your inquiries, provide you with requested products or services, and send you information and marketing related to the services we provide you
    • Demographic information, such as gender, age, zip/postal code, or similar information to analyze the use of and improve our Websites, and provide you advertising tailored to your interests;
    • Registration information, such as user name, password, and account number in the event that you are a registered user of the Websites (including the payment centre), which we use to create and maintain your account, provide you with requested services and identify you as a registered user of our Websites;
    • Information about your interests, which we use to provide you with information about related products and services that may be of interest to you;
    • Communications preferences, such as which newsletters you would like to receive, which we use to send you information and marketing related to the services we provide you;
    • In limited circumstances, payment and identity verification information, such as credit card number and other payment card information and national or other governmental identifiers, which we use only as necessary for completing a particular transaction (e.g., to enable you to pay for advertising services via the Websites) or as otherwise required by law, provided that we do not process, record, or maintain your payment card information, as payment information is processed by a third party payment processor;
    • Information provided when using interactive online features, which we use to enable you to participate in such features that we provide through our Websites;
    • Correspondence you send to us, which we use to reply to inquiries we receive from you; and
    • Employment-Related Information, which we may collect from you when you apply for a job, including information about your work experience, education history, resume, skills, certifications and other employment-related information, which we may use in connection with evaluating and processing your application for employment; if you apply for employment via the Websites, you may also choose to provide self-identifying information which you may choose to voluntarily provide, such as ethnicity, gender, disability status, and/or veteran status.

    We may collect this information through various forms and in various places on the Websites, and may collect it through e-mail, mobile device or other technologies when you submit information, communicate, or otherwise interact with us. We may also collect this information from you offline, including via facsimile, mail, or in person. See “How Does OUTEDGE Use the Information It Collects Pursuant to this Privacy Policy” for more information on how we use the information we collect from you.

    Other Information Collected When You Visit the Websites

    In addition to any personal information or other information that you choose to provide to us, we and our third-party service providers may use a variety of technologies that automatically or passively collect certain Website usage information whenever you visit or interact with the Websites. This information may include:

    • Online identifiers including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating system;
    • Internet activity information including the page served, the time, Websites you visited before and after visiting the Websites, Web pages and advertisements you view and links you click on within the Websites;
    • Information about your interactions with email messages, such as the links clicked on and whether the messages were opened or forwarded; and
    • Standard server log and device information.

    Information collected through these passive means may not directly identify you or may be associated with you. Whenever the information is associated with you, it will be treated as personal information.

    The methods that may be used to collect this information, and the purposes for doing so, include the following:

    Cookies. The Websites use cookies, web beacons, tags and scripts, and other similar technologies to provide you with extended functionality and personalize your experience at our Websites, as well as to help us understand Website visitors. You may disable cookies using your browser's preferences, but some features of the Websites may not function properly or may operate slowly if you disable the cookies. You should consult with your browser's provider/manufacturer if you have any questions regarding disabling cookies. The Websites do not respond to browser-based “do not track” signals.

    Mobile Device Identifiers. Certain mobile service providers uniquely identify mobile devices and we or our third-party service providers may receive such device information if you access the Websites through mobile devices. Additionally, some mobile phone service providers operate systems that pinpoint the physical location of devices that use their service. Depending on the provider, we or our third-party service providers may receive this information when you use your mobile device to access the Websites.

    IP Addresses: When visitors request pages from our Website, our servers log the visitor's IP address. We may collect IP addresses for a variety of internal purposes, such as system administration, to report aggregate information to our business partners or to audit the number of visits to different pages on our Website.

  3. How Does OUTEDGE Use the Information It Collects Pursuant to this Privacy Policy?
  4. When you opt to make a payment via the Websites, we use your contact information and payment and identify verification information solely as necessary to complete a particular transaction. We do not process, record, or maintain your payment card information; instead, payment information is processed by a third party payment processor.

    If you choose to apply for employment with us, we use the information you provide to evaluate and process your application for employment. If you accept an offer of employment, that information will become part of your employment record as well.

    We generally use other information we collect about you to:

  6. We are committed to maintaining your trust and we want you to understand when and with whom we may share information collected about you. Except as otherwise disclosed at the time you provide your information, the following outlines the ways in which your information may be shared with others:

    With Your Consent. With your consent, we may share your contact information with third parties. For example, if you agree to have your information shared with third party business partners, they may contact you about their products and services.

    Authorized Third Parties Providing Services on our Behalf. These third parties are allowed to use your personal information for the purpose of performing such functions.

    Sweepstakes, Contests and Promotions. We may offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions through the Websites that may require registration. If you choose to enter a sweepstakes, contest or other promotion, subject to the terms and conditions of such promotion, your personal information may be disclosed to third parties who help design administer and implement such promotion, including, without limitation, in connection with winner selection, prize fulfillment, and aggregated analysts and as required by law, such as on a winners list. Also, by entering a promotion, you are agreeing to the official rules that govern that promotion, which may contain specific requirements of you, including, except where prohibited by law, allowing the sponsor(s) of the promotion to use your name, voice and/or likeness in advertising or marketing associated with the promotion. All terms applicable to the particular promotion will be made available to you at the time you enter the promotion.

    Administrative and Legal Reasons. We may also transfer and disclose personal information to third parties: (i) in the event we are required to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process or if in our good faith opinion such disclosure is required by law or to enable us to comply with other legal obligations; (ii) at the request of governmental authorities conducting an investigation; or (iii) to protect and/or defend the Websites' Terms of Use or other policies applicable to the Websites or to protect the personal safety, rights, property or security of any individual. We may also use IP address or other device identifiers (discussed above) to identify users in cooperation with copyright owners, internet service providers, wireless service providers or law enforcement agencies in our discretion. Such disclosures may be carried out without notice to you.

    Business Transfers. We may buy or sell a company, some of a company's assets, a Website or Websites or several of the companies in our corporate family may merge with one another, be otherwise reorganized or be acquired by another company. If we complete such a corporate transaction, we may transfer some or all of your information and we reserve the right to disclose and transfer user information, including personal information, in connection with corporate transactions and other corporate changes and in connection with any due diligence carrier out prior to such transactions or changes.

    Protect our Web Sites and users. We may disclose information to protect and defend the legal rights, interests, and safety of the Websites, our affiliates (including our U.S. parent company OUTFRONT Media Inc.), subsidiaries, and their employees, agents, and contractors (including enforcing our agreements); to protect the safety and security of users of the Websites and members of the public; and as otherwise disclosed in our Terms of Use.

  7. What are My Options?
  8. You can choose to enjoy content and features on the Websites without directly providing us with any information about you; however, as described above, some information may automatically be collected or may be requested so that you can take advantage of certain features and services offered on the Websites. The Websites may contain web pages through which you can edit and update personal information you have provided to us through registration with one or more of the Websites and which may allow you to change your marketing preferences. You may also opt-out of receiving marketing communications or other communications by following the instructions contained in any such communication when you receive them. Please note that if you maintain a customer/payment account with the Websites (i.e. payment centre accounts), we reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to your account such as administrative and service announcements if they relate to your account, and these transactional account messages are not affected if you choose to opt-out from marketing e-mails. When you edit your personal information or change your preferences, information that you remove may persist internally for OUTEDGE's administrative purposes.

    If you would like to stop or restrict the placement of cookies or flush any cookies that may already be on your computer or device, please refer to and adjust your web browser preferences. Further information on cookies is available at www.allaboutcookies.org.
